Help Me!

Okay, y'all! We finally think we found Shalom's name! The tattoo turned out to be 2333Y which matched with a sorrel gelding with a blaze and two black spots on his nose (which matches him!) and no other markings. He was in Ohio for a long time which matches what the rescue said. His name is apparently Dot Dot Zoom. We've found his Equibase Profile and a few videos, possibly one photo but I really want to find some more photos if anyone can help. :P He was foaled March 18th, 2005.
Helppp.

There's a Kalah Welch (youtube user name) on Facebook that says she works in QH racing in IN so that's not a far stretch from OH. Maybe try contacting her and see if she used to own him or work with him?

  2. It's a bit of work, but you can contact each of the tracks (listed on the results page) and see if they have anything for him on record? Maybe? He didn't win so that might not be a great idea.

    1. I've considered doing that!! He raced at two tracks a lot so maybe they would have something.

  3. He never broke his maiden, so there won't be any 'win' pictures of him. You could try contacting the track photographer for some of the races where he came in 2nd or 3rd, as there MIGHT be a shot of him in the pack.
Also you could try contacting his last listed owner, perhaps on Facebook, and see if she has anything. I was super leery of contacting Piney's first owners and one of his trainers, but they were beyond happy to share the win pictures they had of him, as well as stories. Facebook has been awesome for connecting me to Georgeous's past too. A lot of his friends/fans found me on it!

  4. Can't lie, I'm totally stalking this on the crazy unlikely chance that Miles and Shalom are legit related!
