Skinny..can't wait to get some meat back on her little bones! I hate seeing her so skinny... |
Anywho, when Step-daddy gets home from work I think we're gonna try and ride, Spirit DESPERATELY needs to be worked and I just need a ride. Plus it would be good for Red to get out of the round pen again and actually *work*. And I want to canter again. Didn't get to canter the other day because it was too muddy and we kept slipping in the pen.
Flashback to mud! |

His mane has gotten so much longer..I really hope he continues being gentle and doesn't rub it..I have high hopes!!!
I've trimmed it a few times because it was a little burnt from the sun but haven't had to do it in awhile. :) Yay for long manes!!
Red's mane is gorgeous! Belle has a mane to her knees and it's so pretty. I love looong manes!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty!! I'm hoping that Red's will go below his neck..There is another Bay at the barn that Red is always with and she has the prettiest mane! It's soo long!
DeleteYour horse is so pretty! Love his mane! My Splash's mane is below his neck, it gets hard to brush when he rolls and tangles it!!:D
ReplyDeleteThank you!! And lol! That's the only downside of a long mane..When I first got Red, he had the mohawk and there wasn't a spot where it didn't have awful, smelly scabs in it, and I had to brush it/groom it for hours in a day, so I'm used to it. LOL!
DeleteThose goats are ADORABLE! Reds mane is looking great!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
