This is super belated..

Firstly, step-dad is doing great after his knee surgery. He had some arthritis in there and it was a painful surgery, normally he stays awake during the surgery and is able to watch after some pain meds, but this time he had to be knocked out halfway through. :)) He's no longer using crutches after just half a day, so that's good!!

Last weekend, he went to ride Red and I was planning on riding the next day. He never gets to ride and we knew he wouldn't be able to for awhile, so I let him have a trail ride with mom and Spirit. Didn't get to ride tomorrow due to rain, so we haven't ridden since then. Hoping to get out on Friday if not tomorrow and Friday to ride.

Anywho, there is a few pictures that were taken last weekend when they rode so I thought I'd post. I was told Red did very well other than being stubborn and trying to canter up hills. ;)

1st notice Jericho's tongue in the right corner, then 2nd, notice Red and his gal. :)
Big news, Chip has probably found a home!! A friend of ours is very interested and taking him for a test drive on Friday. Yipee!! Hope it works out!!

    1. No problem!! They make me happy, too! And I am as well, we were so worried when we decided that we couldn't take him on, we told everyone we knew about him! We all love him so much and we were really wanting him to find an owner that would keep at our barn. ;)

    1. We decided that we weren't the right home for him, sadly. We discovered he had rearing problems/bucking problems and had to be ridden daily for quite awhile, and Spirit needs to be ridden daily as well. When we went out, I'd either have to ride him or Spirit, and Red would never get time, and I don't want Red to get the shaft. :( We just didn't have the time for him, plus he'll probably need to be sent to a trainer for 30+ days.
