Grooming, MTG, tail wraps, rope halters, too many things to talk about..

I went to the barn the other day to check on the man and redo his tail wrap, got there and they were stalled up and had just finished eating. Yay!! Got my stuff, went in, took care of business. It was a cool day so I didn't need to fly spray, he didn't have any on him so I just let him go without it. If they look bad or bugs start to bother him the caretaker at the barn will spray him, but I didn't think he'd be bothered too much. All of his spots were healing nicely and I only used MTG on a couple places on his face. We've been drenched in rain for the past few days and he was soaked, so I used a sweat scraper thing-a-ma-bob to get the water off of his coat so I could apply some of the MTG....Brushed him out, combed his tail and mane out and switched out the gauze and tail wrap. We're just using a leg wrap right now..


Like those ^^^ but thinner. Is it bad that I don't know what they are really called?? Hmm..better go study. ;)

We're putting a medication on it as well to prevent hair loss, stop the itching and help the wounds heal.It's called SWAT fly ointment. Used that and I was done. Spent another twenty minutes cuddling. ^_^ ^_^ Jeff was watching three boys at home because my step-sister had went into labor and was having Claire, so we had to run home after a tiny visit. Not much to say...
