Working some confidence up, one year together, september 2013 |
Fast forward two years, and we're at a good place. He's coming home this month and I've built up so much confidence with him. We have a lot to work on, but he's not the same horse I brought home two years ago, and I'm not the same girl. We've learned together, grown together and become a team. He's no longer hard-to-catch, in fact, he greets me in the pasture. He still has sweet itch, as he always will, but he's much happier and we've discovered a good plan of action for it. He's gained weight, muscle and I'm so happy with him. I'm blessed beyond measure and I don't know what I did to deserve this horse. He's my heart horse, and I'm so proud of us. I can't wait to see where we'll be at year 3.
He's a special one. |
Love this post!
