Adoption!!!

If you've ever wondered who that little boy "Petey" was, then here's an explanation! :)

(This is what I posted on Facebook, edited out the last name for privacy reasons. ;)
Two years ago, we welcomed a tiny little baby in our home. Mom and I spent long nights in the living room with him. There was a lot of doctor visits, meetings, court dates. I never would've thought that we could've fallen in love with him!! I am so happy to say that David Jonathan-Lee (Enter NEW last name here) is OFFICIALLY ours after 733 days!!

David, previously known as Petey on the World Wide Web, was brought to our home in Foster Care at 15 days old, but we visited him earlier than that. His mother is a terrible drug addict, his father is no where to be found, and the only family that wanted him was the grandmother, but thank the Lord, he stayed in our home despite this!


He spent months in physical therapy from the drugs being in his system and being born so tiny, at less than 5 pounds.

One year old, already following his family's footsteps as a cowboy. :)
