Woot.

Okay, so, I was supposed to file for Red's lost papers the first of August, then everything got crazy and we ended up spending WAY too much money on other stuff, and now we had to pay about 1,000 for a condo in Florida where we'll be staying for ten days for a wedding. Ten days is a lot of days, guys. I'm kind of halfway dreading it because I'll miss my pony, but it'll be fun. Anyways, I had to wait until that was all over before I had the money to spend on his papers. He is still technically in my aunt's name because she "sold" him before to someone else and they gave her the money back and said they just couldn't handle him, but they never returned the stinkin' papers. So, I had to get her to file, then switch the names, then get them sent to ME. Going to file on the 3rd or 4th of September and I'll receive them, hopefully, no more than 7 weeks later. Such a long wait but I just want him in my name. I'm trying to come up with a cute way to frame it. Thinking of a collage with the papers from when he was getting ready to travel from FL to TN, then some conformation pictures..I'm still trying to get in touch with his breeder but they haven't responded to anything. I'm tempted to just call but I hate talking on the phone. Lol! Hopefully I'll find out more when I get the papers and research his sire and dam. I'd love to see his parents. This is gonna cost probably over $100, but it's worth it. :) I'm excited to have him in my name and be the official owner, plus find some more about my boy. I haven't been able to find anything out yet other than his breeder's name, where he is from-Holloway, MN-and that he was either bred for barrel racing or to be a bronco. Can't picture him doing either, but honestly after having him on the weight gain that made him so hot, I could see him barreling. Lol!!

  1. I believe AQHA is still back-logged with paperwork after a botched attempt at a new registration & show program. I hope you get them in a timely manner!

I did a photo collage with my old guy's papers, and it was hella expensive, but GORGEOUS! So glad I did it.
